Paramount Boxes at Wimmera Machinery Field Day

In March, we made our way to Longerenong, near Horsham in western Victoria, to celebrate 60 years of the Wimmera Machinery Field Days. We were stoked to show thousands of attendees the ingenuity of Paramount Boxes at one of country Australia’s largest agricultural and agribusiness trade shows.
The Wimmera region covers almost 10% of Victoria—about 2.3 million hectares—so there was definitely enough room for the 400 exhibitors. Held across three days, we had the chance to experience the latest exciting developments in farming practice, machinery, equipment, technology, and services. The team from Horsham Bearings had a range of Paramount toolboxes on display for attendees to get a feel for our Aussie-designed quality.

While we have a box for every type of ute and lifestyle, the 850 Series side-by-side minebox probably gained the most attention at the Field Day. It’s perfect for keeping all your small equipment and parts neatly organised, whether that’s rations and kit for an outback adventure or all the tools for a mobile diesel mechanic.
The other favourite that had enquiries by the ute-load was the ever-affordable range of underbody toolboxes. These were popular with people looking to maximise storage while keeping their gear safe. Rear wheel and tapered, in black or white powder-coated steel, or lightweight aluminium, they’re a favourite for a reason.
We were lucky enough to have a space with some shade for the three days — in a spot that felt like every Aussie’s dream shed. Thank you to everyone who came and said hello, it’s always great to meet our fans face-to-face.
Held from March 5-7, the Wimmera Machinery Field Days has come a long way from its inaugural event in 1963. The first year, it hosted just 80 exhibitors and a touch over 3000 people. Still, it’s easy to see why it is now Victoria’s longest-running Field Days and Australia’s premier broad-acre and machinery-focused event.
