Key Insights
- Mudgee Field Days and AgQuip Gunnedah are held annually in July and August, respectively, garnering over 110,000 visitors in total and contributing millions to the local economy.
- The most popular boxes sold over these event days were the 850H series mineboxes, in 8-drawer and 4-drawer arrangements.

After the incredible interest in our ute tool boxes at last year’s events, Paramount Boxes again teamed up with Stripes Industrial to showcase the best gear for the back of any Aussie’s ute. We attended both the Mudgee Small Farm Field Days and the AgQuip Gunnedah Field Days.
Mudgee Field Days is held annually in July, the event has been running for 45 years and is the largest in the region, attracting approximately 20,000 people and contributing millions to the local economy. Gunnedah’s event in August showcases over 3,000 companies and attracts over 90,000 visitors over three days — and bills itself as one of the largest agricultural events in the world.
Paramount Boxes NSW regional manager Graham represented the team on site and said of both events, “The drawer systems were very popular and a standout. It’s great to give people the chance to touch them and feel the quality of the boxes. They look and feel strong.”
While the wide range of options drew attention, the most popular boxes sold over these event days were the 850H series mineboxes, in 8-drawer and 4-drawer arrangements. The 950H series also caught some attention, with that extra height creating a bit more working space for those taller folk.
At the AgQuip Gunnedah Field Days, the aluminium canopy on jack legs was a big hit, alongside the accessories. People commented on how user-friendly and customisable it is with the unistrut frame throughout (walls, floor and roof), making it easy to fit and mount accessories and other things.
At both events, every single display box sold on the final day, and we gave away a total of just over 500 Paramount stubby holders – which were going like hotcakes!
The big giveaway for attendees at the Stripes stand was a major prize pack at each event including a pair of steel under-body toolboxes in either white or black as well as a merch pack containing stubby holders, caps, a t-shirt and hoodie.
The Mudgee Farm Days raffle winner was Rick Guy from Bathurst NSW, who chose a white pair of underbody boxes. Congratulations!
Our AgQuip Gunnedah winner was Jimmy Alley from Tamworth, NSW, who picked up twin undertray boxes in black — and said it was perfect timing as he was about to get a new tray for his ute!
We hope to see you at next year’s events – and see those stubby holders around some campsite hangouts soon!
